If we ever make it to Homer again, we will definitely stay here again. The owners left you alone, but we always knew they were just a phone call away. Sunny was very friendly and personable upon check-in. The black out shades and comfortable bed provided several nights of much needed deep slumber. They provide light housekeeping, which means they take your trash and towels daily. Even though we didn't have time for the jacuzzis, the property has two and they looked very inviting.

In 1859, he opened a studio in the Tenth Street Studio Building in New York City, the artistic and publishing capital of the United States. By 1857, his freelance career was underway after he turned down an offer to join the staff of Harper's Weekly.
